Adventures in Miscarriage: Preview Screening

A presentation by Emmy-nominated New York City-based filmmaker Cheryl Furjanic about the making of her forthcoming documentary, Adventures in Miscarriage.

Calling on the powers of dark comedy, absurdist performance, intimate interviews, and queer camp, Furjanic pulls back the curtain on the world’s most common pregnancy complication: miscarriage. But she soon realizes she’s on an adventure she didn’t anticipate as the making of Adventures in Miscarriage begins to unlock the filmmaker’s trauma and healing from her own pregnancy loss.

Cheryl will be showing clips from the film and discussing the making of the film. Followed by a discussion with feminist philosopher Jen Scuro, chaired by Victoria Browne.
