Pregnancy Endings

Pregnancy has multiple possible meanings and endings, and our forthcoming exhibition will pay tribute to this ambiguity and diversity. Promoting a ‘full spectrum’ approach, it aims to break down the hierarchies and divisions around abortion, miscarriage, birth and other pregnancy endings, emphasising their interconnections and insisting on equal support and care.

The exhibition is a collaboration with feminist photographer Tara Todras-Whitehill, creator of the iconic 'I Had an Abortion' series of portraits featuring Loretta Ross and Gloria Steinem among other feminist activists. That original series had a real impact in the 2010s in terms of breaking the taboos around talking openly about abortion; and with this new iteration, we’re looking to broaden the impact by including other pregnancy endings too.

The exhibition will be in shown in London in Spring 2026.
